No matter how old my kids get, they will always be my babies. I grew up with two older brothers, and when I say older, I mean 10 and 12 years older. We basically didn’t get raised together, not because we were separated, but because they were adults and we were kids. Our interests were different. When my sister and I hit our teens, we didn’t hang out with our younger siblings, and we had the same age gap as my brothers and I. I didn’t want that happening to my kids, even though the age gap isn’t so big, I try to keep them together for as long as possible. One day, Bubba and Chloe will be adults and will move out and the boys will be alone without them. I want them to be able to look back and say, at least we were together.
